DefyEnt Studios is an independent creative studio dedicated to building original worlds, unforgettable entertainment and globally scalable intellectual property.

Founded by Jonathan Dakin, creator of the internationally successful television format LEGO Masters, DefyEnt Studios exists to create entertainment that inspires audiences to do more than simply watch. We believe the best ideas don't end when the credits roll - they spark adventures, conversations and real-world experiences that continue long after the screen goes dark.

Working with an experienced network of creatives, producers and production partners, we develop original formats, scripted stories, branded entertainment and digital-first content designed to travel across platforms, territories and audiences. From family game shows and immersive adventures to documentaries and original drama, every project begins with the same ambition: to create worlds that people want to become part of.

Our philosophy is simple:

In 2025, DefyEnt launched World of Win, an original family entertainment format released on the DefyEnt Kids YouTube channel and shortlisted for a 2026 TellyCast Digital Video Award. The company also released Forgiveness and the Forgotten Army, a documentary series commemorating the 80th anniversary of VJ Day, on the DefyEnt Docs YouTube channel.

Today, DefyEnt Studios continues to develop original intellectual property for broadcasters, streamers, brands and digital platforms, creating entertainment that audiences don't just watch - they experience.
